This wine grows on you - big time. The marriage of three vintages (2018, 2019, 2021) from the same vineyard, it's a bit like stepping onto a cable bridge. Initially a little shaky, with some forward momentum you can't help but embrace the vista and natural beauty that surrounds you.
With a focused gaze early, woodsy spices, Szechuan pepper, licks of cola ruminate before a run of purple fruits rush. Dark and black cherries build a neat presence. There's a brightness too which cannot be understated. Wonderfully weighted, the fruit has a moreish depth yet seems to float through the mouth. A delicate spice tickle the parting gift. Delicious!
