Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Noir 2017

Only two Craggy Range wines have graced these pages over the years. I spied this on the shelf when in search of beer at an independent retailer on the Gold Coast. For $44 I just had to have a looksy. And I'm pleased I did. What a superb Pinot Noir from New Zealand's Martinborough region!

Dark cherries and blackberries fold into one another with ease. Sleek tannins and fine spices are meshed throughout. Minerally feels with a charcoal presence add further interest. Long and luscious, that carrot is dangling urging me to seek more. Naturally, I did... So soothing and satisfying, this is late evening sunset material. At this price, you'd be mad to pass it up given the normal $55RRP (so the shelf ticket said).
