Hutton Vale Farm Shiraz 2017

Weighty, big and warm to start. Not the usual beauty I've come to expect from this label.

Dark plums and chocolate, oak influence can be seen in smoke and char characters. The prettiness of 2016 is not there. It's more dense and muscular and gives the impression it's a bit stewed. Overripe perhaps? Baking spices to close. Lovers of biggish wines will find a happy home here.
