Here's a good slurp. A reputable brand with a new label. After checking my records, I haven't seen a Richard Hamilton wine in eight years. It's good to make a reacquaintance.
With a core of cinnamon and cloves, red fruits curl around the mouth. There is some heft here but it doesn't overplay its hand. Fine black pepper adds to baking spices which run a long race. Drying with cocoa-like tannins, the finish is a little warming and sapping calling for some protein. Good stuff.
