Hello Mr Happiness! A wonderfully refreshing burst of citrus goodness. There is only one Riesling vineyard on the Granite Belt, and this is Ridgemill Estate's best release for a few years.
Winemaker Peter McGlashan first produced a Riesling in 2013, and damn, wasn't it quite the entry onto the stage. This is the closest to that initial release.
Vibrant and expressive aromas skip from the glass. Think apple sours, lime juice, little white flowers, and bath salts. Talc feels through the mouth with a hint of lime pith, its minerally drive speaks of the region. Waves of lime juice just don't ease up as they wash through the mouth with ease. A great refreshment and screaming for fresh seafood.
