Penley Estate EOS 2018

This just feels cool and sophisticated and possesses an air of elegance. Coming in a big solid and sturdy bottle that could double as a rolling pin, the Penley Estate EOS brings pleasure in many forms.

A blend of Shiraz and Cabernet (64/36), it sees 18 months of French oak (40% new, 40% second use, 20% third use)

Coming in at 13.5% alcohol, it's medium-bodied and dripping with class. An incredibly layered wine, think of dried sage, black olives, silky black fruits and dark plums with a tinge of raspberries. Cola and black earth find their voice with touches of dark chocolate, tar and handbag leather plus fine grippy tannins and sizzling spices. Well-managed oak compliments the fruit beautifully with a length that seemingly never ends.

Just like Freddy Mercury once exclaimed, "I want it all and I want it now!" But hey, demonstrate more patience than Freddy and you'll be rewarded for many years to come.
