This is Australia Day Cabernet. It would eat all the lamb. Entry-level Cabernet done well.
It's bold with some muscle. Black olives, tomato paste and black currants do the heavy lifting early then dried herbs tuck in behind. There are some cut green herbs too. That herbaceous note gets some momentum that's for sure. Drying and sapping, powdery tannins coat the mouth generously. Get that lamb on the coals.
