Pirate Cru Wines William Hunt Grenache 2016

Sourced from Centenarian vines from the Vine Vale sub-region, I could sip on this all night. This is a very good Grenache that oozes moreishness.

Super smooth, it's delicate with an endearing personality. Take a whiff to find petals and raspberry delight. Seeing 20 months in seasoned French oak, ripples of spices flow with ease although there is a touch of warmth. A wonderful caress initially, it firms up late but calms after two days of tasting. Give it some air is the go. Dried herbs and a faint earthiness have the last word with a focused finish. I like this - a lot. Pizza night or chilly by the fire, you choose.
