Blue Pyrenees Vintage Brut 2019

 

Vintage Brut made in the traditional method. This is a great drink for fizz lovers without burning a hole in your back pocket. With an RRP of $33, it's currently on the website for $28 while members pay only $21. The members are the winners here.

A blend of Chardonnay/Pinot Noir/Pinot Meunier, there is plenty going on to amuse. Think yellow flowers, apricot kernel, and yellow fleshed peaches. It is wonderfully complex through the mouth highlighted by brioche, wholemeal bread and whispers of lemon juice. A pleasing length stretches out long. An easy wine to recommend for an aperitif or just coz.
