I had a quick look at this wine when tasting through the Pirate Cru range with Jennifer Graham and Dirk Pettigrew. It would have been good to see this evolve over a few days. Quite firm, dark chocolate and cloves partner dense and bold black fruits. This is will age as long as you want, and despite already having seven years under its belt, it certainly has a long life ahead.
