Quite dense, it veers away from the red and blue fruits that often highlight Hunter Shiraz. Black plum and black cherries hold the torchlight yet it still holds the medium-bodied profile the district is renowned for. Flecks of meatiness, baking spices and charcuterie are in your future. Delicate spices effortlessly roll out to a long and deliciously persistent finish. Still a little firm, this will continue to soften in the years to come. Big love for this.
