Big and dense. Generous and warm. Caramel and coffee beans lurch forward on opening. A big Barossa Shiraz awaits.
Dark chocolate and generous handfuls of rum n raisin add to those big flavours. Sweet oak raises its hand too with cedar and sandalwood showing form. Waves of baking spices flood the mouth on close. They seem never-ending sapping moisture from the mouth. There is a bit to plough through here. It's a wine that meeds something help it down - I'm thinking a steak on the coals. Give it time and it will settle.
