Take me with two hands it says. A Cabernet that softens wonderfully over a few days. Give it some time in a decanter or a couple of years tucked away and you'll reap the reward.
Drying and sapping on opening, I'm puckering away here. There is plenty to keep you busy with this Frankland River Cabernet, that's for sure. It's generous and forthright. Black fruits and blueberries bust out early. Scents of menthol and tomato bush throw a sheet over dried herbs and black olives. Fast forward three days and it is delicately soft - clearly built for the long haul. A clever Cabernet and one I'd happily recommend.
