Most Grenache releases come out a year or two after their vintage so it's good to see the odd example with a little bottle age on its side.
The depth this Clare Valley Grenache possesses brings plenty of interest. Blackberries and blackberry jubes, it's a Grenache that sits on the dark fruit spectrum. Plum skins, dark chocolate and soft exotic spices add further pleasure with a gentle, comforting warmth washing through late. A great barbecue wine.
