Gimme all the wings and a glass or two of this. Yummo! The spiced plums and smokey characters of this Mataro fly the flag proudly. A respectable density and gripping meatiness call for smoked and charred meats.
The website hasn't got the new labels uploaded just yet but my handy work above will give you an idea what to look out for. Szechuan pepper wraps itself around black and red fruits. It's generous with great width and length that finishes smooth as it lures you closer. A wine that grows on you, it improves with time in the glass. A great drink that is nicely done.
