If you like your Shiraz complex, layered and considered, here is your weapon. Well played Yelland and Papps.
Swirl the glass to release blueberry paste, grape bubblegum, cured meats and berry pie aromas that hook you in. They are quite mesmerising really. Terrifically savoury to taste, it's lacy yet has a masculinity about it. The dark plum and dark berry fruit have a vibrance that is telling. It is a wine that seems to reveal itself more and more with time in the glass. Delicately spiced, a rub of powdery tannins have the last word and sit long. Classy stuff.
Drink to eight years.
