The suggestion of some aged characters already in play surprised me a little, but rest assured, this Reserve Riesling will live long.
Drinking well now, of course, think lemon sherbet and a squeeze of lime juice. It possesses a great drive and this shows in the length. Chalky feels run the distance too. Curiously, a couple of years of bottle age has reigned in its youthful intensity and softened the edges. A solid Riesling built for the long haul, if that's how you like them.
