Willowlake can do no wrong. It's that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Here is another superb Chardonnay from Oakridge. Boom!
So measured. So precise. Grapefruit slides through the mouth with absolute ease from top to toe. It's long and dangerously moreish. White fleshed stonefruits cling on for the ride through the pleasuredome. The delicacy is pure with fine drops of lemon juice and gentle creamy oak. That ruby grapefruit tang just hangs - what a delight. I'm in awe. Stand and applaud, or just pour another glass.
Drink to eight years.
