A delicate Mornington Peninsula Pinot from small producer Octtava.
There is plenty of savoury goodness layered within. Roasted beets, charcuterie, orange peel, dark cherries and char. There is a flicker of sour cherry as well among the dusty black earth and mushroom compost.
Still a little firm, there is a meatiness that keeps me coming back. If you keep pouring it I'll keep drinking it. Very nicely done.
