Hot off the press, this is my first look at a 2022 release. Andrew Thomas brought this along with many other delights for his Thomas on Tour road trip that hits the east coast showcasing his new red wine releases.
Lovers of Hunter Semillon would be interested to know that 75% of this wine comes off Thomas' famed Braemore vineyard so there is no questioning the quality.
Fresh and vibrant, squeezed lemons skip out of the blocks. There is a gooseberry and shelled pea thing going on too. Cut green herbs roll about with ease leading to a lemongrass tail. There is a little textural grip before the cleansing acidity washes through. All up, it is an easy slurp for a warm day.
