Here we have an aromatic Fumé Blanc from the Margaret River.
Cut herbs, gooseberry, passionfruit and some white nectarines, pretty white field flower scents round off a vibrant intro. But that excitement thins out quickly and the depth of flavour doesn't follow through. Some texture through the mouth plus a thin veil of creaminess runs through before a long run of spice. But all up, it's a wine that doesn't mesh together as much as I hoped with the lemony acid protruding that little bit too much on close.
