Dappled Appellation Pinot Noir 2021

Boom! A serious contender for the best value wine of the year. I could neck the contents in quick time. Such a considered, delightful and damn impressive Pinot Noir from the Upper Yarra Valley. That thing about run don't walk - yes!

Skeletal, fine-boned, delicate - it's a Pinot to handle with kid gloves yet its ability to absolutely absorb your interest is incredible. 25% whole bunches and ten months in French oak, it's bottled unfined and unfiltered. But you wouldn't know it given the purity of fruit and sleek delivery. It's all red cherries, cola, fine spices and an absorbing length. There is something meticulous and precise here yet the interest factor is impressive. Plenty of other wineries would charge much more. Get this.
