Brash Higgins Ripple 2020

A wicked new wine from the ever creative and curious Brad Hickey. Whole bunch Cabernet flooded with Nero d'Avola juice for carbonic maceration.

Brash Higgins Nero d'Avola 2019

Brad Hickey made his name on this variety and he keeps smashing the high hats. Get comfy with another superb Nero d'Avola courtesy of his famed amphora.

Brash Higgins Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Off the Omensetter Vineyard adjacent to the winery, the fruit is certified organic and biodynamic.

Yangarra Estate PF Grenache 2020

Bright cerise in the glass, the fruit presents itself like a vortex. Mulberry and blueberry fruit swirl before drawing you in. A delicious slurp.

Yangarra Ironheart Shiraz 2017

Another superb Ironheart Shiraz. It's a wine that hits the target without fail. I was lucky enough to taste this in barrel with winemaker Peter Fraser during vintage back in 2017. It didn't miss the mark then and it's perched gorgeously now.

d'Arenberg Stephanie the Gnome with Rose Coloured Glasses 2020

I've got sore hands from typing in the name of this wine. Yikes! A blend of Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Cinsault make up this incredibly long named organic and biodymanic Rosé.

d'Arenberg The Love Grass Shiraz 2018

Part of the new Organics range, The Love Grass Shiraz used to be a cellar door only release. I like its new jacket too with "organic" clearly emblazoned on the front label.

Yangarra Estate High Sands Grenache 2017

From Yangarra's famed High Sands vineyard, this 2017 release comes across more pensive and considered.

Maverick Trial Hill Eden Valley Shiraz 2018

Pull back the arrow, aim for the target, release the bow - bullseye! The precision of this Shiraz is superb.

Maverick Barossa Ridge Shiraz 2018

Quite a young wine and no where near its best. You get a sense of precision about the way it struts, but for now, its suit looks tight fitting and neck tie rushed.

Yangarra Estate King's Wood Shiraz 2018

Oh what a beauty! I'm drawn to this release more than the 2017 and that release was gorgeous in its own right. Stunning McLaren Vale Shiraz. A wine to embrace and keep close.
