Yangarra Estate Ovitelli Blanc 2020

Welcome to the debut Ovitelli Blanc release. A magnificent wine, there is plenty going on as you'd expect from Yangarra Estate. The back label states, "Renowned for our Grenache and respecting the distant homelands of this variety, we planted its white varietal cousins." Lovers of texture and interest ought to dip their oar in.

Yangarra Estate Hickinbotham Clarendon Grenache 2020

Pretty and almost skeletal, this is a joyous and dancy number. The fruit glides through unobstructed. Silk sheet material. Bring it!

d’Arenberg The Love Grass Shiraz 2019

To sum this Shiraz up in a couple of words I'd say generous and savoury. It's a wine that grows on you and loves the chance to soak up some air to show its best form.

Brash Higgins Grenache Mataro 2020

A luxurious ride through the pleasure dome. There is so much to seek out here. Bright fruit, depth, savoury elements, persistence... Find me in a comfy chair over there as I tuck in.

The Innocent Weed is all about that pesky spear grass that pins itself to you unsuspectingly. These are kept at bay in d'Arenberg's organic and biodynamic vineyards by the use of herbicides put them to sleep and improve the soils.

Bliss. A lovely drink. Dancy, vibrant and mischievous, the fruit sings louder the longer it sits in the glass.

Yangarra Ironheart Shiraz 2017

Another superb Ironheart Shiraz. It's a wine that hits the target without fail. I was lucky enough to taste this in barrel with winemaker Peter Fraser during vintage back in 2017. It didn't miss the mark then and it's perched gorgeously now.

d'Arenberg Stephanie the Gnome with Rose Coloured Glasses 2020

I've got sore hands from typing in the name of this wine. Yikes! A blend of Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Cinsault make up this incredibly long named organic and biodymanic Rosé.
