I'm not sure of the Viognier percentage in this, but the florally lift and apricot characters immediately jump from the glass. Not overpowering but neat.
A good bright appearance is followed by some medium bodied Shiraz goodness from the Hunter Valley. Soft red fruits highlighted by dark cherries. Some fruit sweetness evident and adds nicely to the wine's appeal. Finishing long and a little drying, I certainly prefer this wine to the previous vintages of the same blend I've tasted.
A good wine worth keeping an eye out for.
