Patina Little Wood Chardonnay 2011

Named "Little Wood" because it sees exactly that. Fermented in stainless steel, it sat in old French oak for a small period of time.

Lots of nectarines, peaches and lemon rind. That nectarine really dominates. Good aromas too. A day on and the lemons started to show their hand more with the stone fruit very much playing second fiddle.

Quite linear, there's an acid bite which I find a little off putting. Even after two days it didn't budge. It's four years old now and I would have expected it to settle by this stage.
