Angove Organic Shiraz Cabernet 2014

Angove winemaker Tony Ingle says, "Organic crops achieve flavour ripeness earlier at lower sugar levels, have thicker skins and are less susceptible to disease."

I really liked this.

Raspberries, bitter dark chocolate, some clove and a dash of baking spice. There's almost a raspberry and chocolate tart likeness here and the whole package offers quite a bit of interest. There's not much acid to speak of and the fruit predominantly sits on the mid palate.

Have in the short term but a sweet deal for the asking price. Check independent retailers.
