There's more action here in the mouth than on the nose. Tasty red fruits are soft with a crack of spice which lingers nicely. Sour cherries become more prominent the longer it sits in the glass. That soft length just hovers adding interest. Good drinking and ultimately that's what you want, no?
I do prefer this to the Barbera which goes for the same price. Usually my preference is the other way round.
