Here's a big boy. Plenty of power here that's for sure. But don't get too excited, it's one to stick in a dark place for a while before it shows its best form in a few years.
Generous and delicious soft dark fruit, licorice, and cassis. All the usual suspects here. Coffee and cedar like oak which is integrated well allowing the fruit to flourish. The fruit is still taut but the noose will soon loosen with some more time. An absolute tannin bomb to finish - mouth sapping stuff. Chalky and drying. A solid birth year pick if you do that thing.
Cellar as long as you want.
