Some cool climate class with a kick in the booty. A wine you just want to sit down and drink.
Red fruits and red berries with a classic undertow of peppery spice get things under way. A bit earthy through the mid palate, it arrives with elegance before fattening out with dark berry fruits taking up residence. Oak plays a neat cameo - nice. The silky feels in the mouth with a edge factor about it keep getting my attention. Long hang time to finish, that gentle spice hum gives more than enough incentive to go back for more.
Long term cellaring potential but it's good to go now.
