This has got me thinking about osso bucco or a ragu.
A blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot from Mudgee, good depth is highlighted by dark berries, dark plums and dried Mediterranean herbs. A kick of earth adds another element to ponder. The fruit sits in the mid-palate soft and smooth though the tannins are a little tight. Long to finish, it's a handy drink for those cool nights by the fire or that hearty meal.
Drink now to three years.
