Coming off a 30 year old dry grown vineyard, this is a rich and powerful type.
Dark appearance, juicy dark fruits and berries are ably supported by coffee oak and secondary savoury flecks of vanilla and cinnamon.
From gate to post there's a respectable consistency to the wine. Smooth and long to finish, I'd happily recommend it.
Drink now to eight years.
