Rosé from the Adelaide Hills. A blend of Sangiovese and Tempranillo with a splash of Pinot Gris (55/37/8). Summer has just walked out the door but this wouldn't be out of place on your autumn lunch table.
Red fruited as one would expect - watermelon, underripe strawberry, dried cranberries, juicy red cherries, fresh cranberries. A dry Rosé, there almost appears to be a three part flow. Smooth juicy Sangiovese up first, spicy Tempranillo, then Pinot Gris capably adding texture to the mid-palate. Crunchy red apple acidity frames it all in. A good drink.
