Depth, fruit and savoury appeal - something for everyone really.
Dried red and purple flowers and cracked pepper aromas cradle dark cherry and red currant fruit. Char is evident but isn't heavy-handed. Medium bodied, some flashes of pan juices and beefy characters add to the peppery spices. A touch of cola is in there too. There's a graphite like feel with a brick dust tannin which sits soft and long. Yum.
A great drink.
Good to go now or will cellar for six years.
