Cabernet from a Mudgee vineyard sitting 630m above.
Smells of sweet cherry tomatoes and tomato leaf. Dark plums are anchored to the floor as are some dark berry fruit and sweetish blackcurrants. There's a dry minerally feel before dusty tannins take the stage. Still a little tight and another year or so will certainly be of benefit. Good for a slow cooked meal now if impatient.
Drink 2019 to 2025.
