Hello to a new Heggies label. Eden Valley fruit - 'Harvested at night and whole berry pressed' the back label tells me.
Tangy hard lemonade aromas. Not too dissimilar to Solo in some respects. There's a whiff of meringue too. Some white peach drive and lemon sherbet. What should be mid-palate pleasure is overrun by a crunchy acidity hugging the edge. Crisp, the finish is long but that acid has a bite. Green apple like. Lacks polish.
There's better examples for the money.
