Off vines planted in 1978 and 1983. Whole bunch pressed to barrel (25% new) for eleven months with no lees stirring.
Toasty and creamy, there's a dabble of pear and a surge of nectarine. Buttered popcorn, a touch of oyster shell fades to the background as lemon curd appears to shoulder that away. Caramalised peach and some fig add more intrigue. Nougat finishes late with fuller and rounded finish.
There's soothing appeal here.
