Leeuwin Estate Art Series Riesling 2017

Riesling not keen on putting on its party suit and socialising. Quite reserved and seemingly withholding itself.

There's a minerally drive with Bickfords lime cordial trying to muscle its way forward. The mid-palate is thin and watery but you get the sense citrus fruit has dragged its way through. Chalky feels to finish with acid a little out of sync, but that thin feeling has left its stain. Not what I was expecting from this producer - but you can't win them all I suppose.
