Leeuwin Estate Prelude Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

2015 was said to be one of the best all round vintages Leeuwin Estate has experienced. This Prelude Cabernet is a respectable drink with four years already under its belt.

I like the shape of this wine. The fruit, weight and acid are balanced well. Dark chocolate, cigar box, blackcurrants and blackberries all show their hand. It's a wine leaning to easy drinking rather than one which will urge complex lengthy discussion. The long finish does have me wanting to go back - all the signs pointing in the right direction for happiness.

Drink now to eight years.
