It's ripe. Very ripe at 15.7%. But here's the thing... It's made in a fortified style but not fortified if that makes sense. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo and Semillon (92.5/5/2.5) sourced from Clovely Estate's vineyards in the South Burnett region.
It's rich and porty - no surprise there. It's all Christmas cake and fruit cake. Plums, prunes - yet get the picture. Some dried apricot, mandarin peel and a ripple of spice. Something to have in small doses. Something a bit different.
Drink now to three years.
