Head off the main track and down Georges Road in the Waipara region to find The Bone Line. This Chardonnay is a beauty and shows once again that this region is one that deserves more kudos than it is given.
The minerally drive and balanced acidity make this Chardonnay a pleasure to drink. White fleshed necatrines cruise through only to be flanked by a good squeeze of lemon juice, lemon butter and a tangy finish. It just hangs long and urges you to return for another mouthful. Glorious.
