I've gotta say, I'm loving the wines coming off this Henk site of late. The Chardonnay was a ripper and its class is evident with this Local Vineyard Series Pinot as well.
This Pinot sits somewhere between the Hazeldine and Willowlake. A fascinating mix of power and finesse salutes. Sour cherries and a faint whiff of toffee apple early. Earthy with moreish dark fruits, a touch of clove and char add layers of interest. Long, delicate and graceful, a wonderful Pinot in every way.
