A generous wine, toasted cashews, barbecued peach and butterscotch all seek your attention early. Some preserved lemons add more complexity. There's a little oomph here. Not too much to weigh it down mind you, but just enough to give you something to grasp at. Oak plays its hand nicely imparting those delicious vanilla characters. And that length! These Soumah Single Vineyard Chardonnays are always smart.
