This wine is one of the most consistent releases from d'Arenberg over recent years. And based on that, this is the best one yet - a terrific blend.
The Grenache shines bright with raspberries and red fruits shimmering unabated. Dark chocolate and puffs of black earth work the mid-palate. Dried herbs walk with ease as flecks of blackberries lead to a persistent finish highlighted by drying tannins edging on powdery. Fine spices tickle a moreish finish. Drinking well now, it will only improve with time and it proved that over a couple of days of tasting.
