La Petite Mort Albariño 2019

Sourced from Queensland's first Albariño vineyard, this comes from just down the road and over the ridge from La Petite Mort HQ. It's a wine that screams thirst quenchability.

In many respects, this variety is all about climate change. It appears that Albariño has found a happy home in the district which is has been hit by drought in recent years.

Light to taste, it a wonderful aperitif style. Clean, honeyed tones, poached pears and faint apricot juice all add appeal. Delicately spiced to close with refreshing acidity. This is a beauty.
