Clever. Levantine Hill doesn't miss the mark if at all and it's hard to see that changing any time soon with Paul Bridgeman at the wheel. This is a fabulous blend.
Yellow stonefruit, yellow flowers and a deft nuttiness that threads its way through in stealth mode. A 80/20 blend, soft spices and baked apples add further levels of interest as it walks tall and in a sophisticated manner. It developed marvelously over two days of tasting to show its aging capabilities for the medium term. Vanilla and marzipan deliver an impressive creamy drive. Smart indeed and a wonderful autumn evening wine.
Drink to five years.
