Seeing old oak for nine months and coming from 100 year old vines, there's already some appeal worth rising for.
Blue and red fruit aplenty, this is a spicy sucker. Spicy indeed. That pepper and pinch of baking spice is prominent throughout. Some jubey fruit with an edge of sweetness reminds you of the old Grenache days but there's a peek to the future with where this wine can go. The balance of ripeness and style dances on a knife-edge. That said, I'd happily sink into the lounge with a glass or two on a lazy Friday night.
