Pizzini Arneis 2021

Some weight distinguishes this Arneis from the Riesling and Pinot Grigio in the Pizzini range. The diversity of these wines is something. Not only is there seemingly a wine for every occasion and taste, but the width and breadth of texture and interest are also explored.

I remember once being told that Arneis is a bit like Viognier - it's around but not taken as seriously as it should.

Pears and white nectarine with subtle honey tones, the weight is measured and leads to a feathering of texture through the mouth. Powdery like feels, fine spices curl around the mouth. Good acid and a credible length keep ticking the boxes. A chicken salad and all the parmesan for me, please.

Drink now.
