Levantine Hill Melissa's Paddock Syrah 2016

Quite firm and dense on opening, let it breathe to see it at its best.

Give the glass a swirl and beef stock, dark plums and dark chocolate come running. From a warm year, there is plenty of savoury highlights. Char, fine black pepper and peppered steak stride out on a long tail along with fruit cake plus and dark fruits. With fine yet firm tannins on a persistent finish, it's a wine that will continue to develop well with bottle age.
