Mount Pleasant Rosehill Shiraz 2022 hits the tasting bench. It's an interesting wine and one that you want to just hang out with. That curious friend who seemingly asks more questions than gives answers and that mystique creates more curiosity.
Medium-bodied, initially it is a little more abrasive than you may expect. Firm, it is highlighted by baked red fruits, dark plums and blackberries. Some more time reveals sauteed mushrooms as it relaxes. Quite earthy, it speaks of its soils. The length has tremendous reach with fruit bun spices seemingly stretching out to the horizon. Superfine silty tannins have the last word on an enjoyable Shiraz with its best years ahead.
